Animals

“I really don’t think I could consent to go to Heaven if I thought there were no animals there.”

— George Bernard Shaw

Let’s not forget our furry, feathered, and hooved friends.

Animals can benefit from energy work the same as people. I am an animal Reiki Master in addition to being a human Reiki Master. I also use Emotional Freedom Technique (sometimes called tapping), Tellington Touch, Eden Energy Medicine for Animals, as well as all my other energy tools. All manner of energy work can be done remotely for our critters, just as it can for people. And, while I do not consider myself an animal communicator, I frequently do get messages while working energetically with animals, and I do pass messages along.

I also assist animals and their people when it’s time for pets to cross over. As hard as it is, it’s so important to walk that last mile with them and let them go on having no regrets. Some animals pass feeling like they have deserted their people or they could have done more for their people, which is never the case. But animals have a strong sense of purpose here on earth. They know who they are and what they are about. Animals are sentient beings with intelligence and wisdom and mission. Their bond with their people is absolute. Helping them to feel complete is what I am there to do, so that they move on with a clean slate knowing they have given their best to their human family.

Phoebe.

"Our dog, Phoebe, was adopted from an animal shelter when she was approximately 8 years old. I had the good fortune to have her company over the next 6 years. When she was 14, she became very listless, had little energy and not much appetite. She had a ramp to assist her getting up on the sofa since she could no longer jump up there by herself. It felt like she was approaching her time to cross over. Eventually, Phoebe became more unsteady and started to fall off the ramp. This is when Sydney began to do some energy work for her. A couple of weeks later I was delighted to tell Sydney that Phoebe's appetite had improved and she was much more like her more energetic younger self. That burst of energy lasted approximately two weeks and then gradually began to diminish. Over the next several weeks Sydney checked in with Phoebe to see if she wanted more energy work. Phoebe communicated to Sydney that she was done and did not want more energy work. Shortly after that Phoebe did cross over. I was very grateful that Phoebe had that additional time where she seemed free of pain and peaceful. As Sydney said, "Phoebe was a dog who knew what she wanted, and she was ready to go."
