Getting to the field of all possibility.
I work with children for behavioral, developmental, emotional and/or academic concerns. For children under the age of 12, the best approach is to work through either parent or both parents on the child’s behalf. Young children see themselves through their parents’ eyes. They tend to live up to their parents’ expectations or down to their parents’ fears. Energy work can interrupt generational damage by changing wounds for parents that can get inadvertently passed along to children, and can flip the switch from the negative to the field of all possibilities. This positive outlook gives kids room to find out who they are without the fear of disappointing parents. Approving, supportive, loving parents have successful kids with a happy life — without exception. I can help you get there.
“Have the courage to follow you heart and intuition. They already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
Steve Jobs
Teens get to choose.
I work with teens both in individual sessions and through a parent, a process called surrogate work. Teen sessions run for about an hour. There will be energy work, coaching and strategizing depending on the age and ability of the child and what is concerning them. You will know whether surrogate work or an individual session is best for your child. One is not always better than the other. However, one might be a better fit for your child than the other. We can also try both and see which your child responds to more comfortably.
Growing up is such a big job.
This work is completely compatible with and complementary to any other forms of intervention your child might be receiving, such as medical care, medication, occupational or physical therapy. I meet children where they are. My goal is to support the children who are my clients in the very big job of growing up and becoming an adult. I want them to know that they are wonderful just as they are, and that more is open to them! And that I like them already… just because.
"Sydney has an incredible gift, and I am in such appreciation for an opportunity to work with her recently. I was immediately welcomed into her open and compassionate presence and felt so much light as she 'worked' to tap into my requested needs of attention. She easily explains the process, but if you just allow it, her energetic clearing is unmistakably felt in your body, leaving you with clarity, feeling open, and wonderful!"
